Naperville's Massage is Wellness Participates in
“Build It and Kids Will Come” Massage Fundraiser for
The Greater Challenge
Naperville's Premier Massage Company, Massage is Wellness is participating in a Statewide “Build It and Kids Will Come” Massage Fundraiser January 2016 to March 2016.
Massage Therapists around the world have always been involved in charity and community service, and many have jumped onboard to be a part of this event as a way to help build a Community Center for Chicago's youth. Massage is Wellness is offering healing massage therapy to raise funds, and will donate 50% of the revenue generated from the massage service. They have chosen Victory Cathedral Worship Center in Bolingbrook, Illinois under the direction of Senior Pastor, Smokie Norful as the recipient.
The “Building It and Kids Will Come” Massage Fundraiser idea came from LaChanda Chery, LMT, who is the founder of Massage is Wellness. Chery said, “We initiated “Build It and Kids Will Come” Massage Fundraiser as a way for massage therapists to connect in a constructive way to Heal the Youth in our communities. Even though we may not be able to actually touch all of our youth physically, we can absolutely make a difference in so many of their lives, by providing funding to build a State of the Art Youth Center for their enjoyment.
Massage choices are Swedish Massage, Sports Massage, Deep-Tissue Massage and Corporate Chair Massage.
There are two exciting opportunities available for participation in Massage is Wellness’ fundraiser. Individually you can go through their partner organization on Meetup.com "Using Massage to Donate to Various Charities and Good Causes". But, another exciting option is for businesses, or organizations to host an event where Massage is Wellness will send a therapist(s) to their location for either seated chair massage or for traditional table massage. The event organizer can choose to ask for donations from the recipients, or to cover the cost of the therapist. Either way, Massage is Wellness will donate 50% for any massage event held.
